The Funen manufacturer of spray/drying booths and other painting systems is launching an ambitious growth plan and expects to double sales over the next five years.
The growth will be driven by professional know-how, and it is therefore a natural step to expand the ownership of the company, which today consists of CEO, Allan Hansen, and CSO, Rune Lund Bendixen. Flemming Terp Jørgensen and Christoffer Storm, who are currently employed by Ventherm as Head of Programming & Automation and Technical Manager respectively, join the ownership circle and will continue to be part of the driving forces behind customer consulting, Ventherm's unique solutions and innovation based on their many years of experience in the industry. In addition, Christian Petersen is hired as Business Development Manager in order to expand Ventherm's global dealer network. Christian Petersen comes from a job as International Sales Manager in the ice cream industry and has previously worked as a Country Manager in France in the pharmaceutical industry. Christian Petersen also joins the ownership group. There are no changes to management and the five owners look forward, along with the rest of the colleagues to strengthening Ventherm's global position. With an increased focus on existing and new export markets combined with a competent team as well as new solutions, CSO, Rune Lund Bendixen expects Ventherm to occupy a market leading position within turn-key solutions for industrial coatings, in a number of selected European markets, over the next five years and at the same time double sales.
New and innovative solutions
As part of the growth plan, Ventherm has invested in a number of new initiatives focusing on digitalization and automation. Based on Industry 4.0, Ventherm has recently developed innovative solutions centered around paint robots. The software in the robots is Danish and specially developed for coatings. Ventherm's robotic solutions make it possible to scan the device to be painted, after which the software calculates the optimal painting lanes. The robot solutions streamline time and paint consumption and provide customers with a consistent and controllable quality. The use of robots in coatings for heavy industry is relatively new, however, Ventherm experiences a noticeable demand for these very robots both in Denmark and especially in export markets. The new and automated systems come with an updated control that gives customers full benefit from the robots with the possibility of collecting data for production and energy optimization. The control is delivered to all Ventherm's new projects regardless of the degree of automation. Ventherm has developed the control itself, controlled using an app or PC, and enables Ventherm to provide online service and support regardless of the customer's geographic location. Human Positioning System (HPS) is Ventherm's latest energy-saving initiative. HPS means that the cabin is only active in the segment where painting is carried out. This means the rest of the cabin is on standby, which significantly reduces energy consumption. It is not unusual that energy consumption can be reduced to 1/6. CSO, Rune Lund Bendixen, informs there are several new solutions in the pipeline that are soon ready for launch.
